NEWKIRK — A failure to appear warrant with bond endorsed at $20,000 is issued for Heather Renee Thompson, 38, who is facing three felony counts of unlawful possession of a CDS with intent to distribute, felony child neglect and two misdemeanor charges. Thompson reportedly failed to appear for a court date on Oct. 23.

NEWKIRK — A warrant is issued for Kenneth Reuben Kemble, 40, Ponca City, by the Kay County District Court.

NEWKIRK — A status docket is set for a Ponca City man accused of threatening to bomb churches. Elian Uribe, 22, was charged on March 9, 2022 with the offenses. Since then there have been 25 court dates in the matter including competency hearings. 

NEWKIRK — A plea docket is set for Carissa Nicole Pemberton, 31, Ponca City, who is facing a felony count of child abuse.

NEWKIRK — A plea docket is set for Kay County Commissioner Shane Jones on Jan. 11.

Jones was charged on July 25, 2025 with a felony count of larceny of livestock and nine counts of branding with intent to defraud. (see related story here)

NEWKIRK — A court date is scheduled for Michael Gregory Gober, 36, Ponca City, who is facing felony counts of child endangerment by DUI after a feloy conviction and aggravated driving a motor vehicle while under the influence.

NEWKIRK — A warrant remains issued for Stevie Michelle Loucks, 34, Tonkawa, by the Kay County District Court.

NEWKIRK — Court dates are scheduled for Charles Lowell Stegall, 59, Tiffany Michele Moody, 45, and Rachel Lynn Hurt, 35, all of Blackwell.

NEWKIRK — A warrant is issued for Michelle Nichole Green, 45, Ponca City, by the Kay County District Court.

PAWHUSKA — Former Osage County deputy Terry York has filed a tort claim against Osage County Sheriff Bart Perrier, undersheriff Billy Wakefield, chief deputy John Cummings, 10 John Does and the county.
