SHIDLER — Osage County deputies responded to the 600 block of north Cosden Ave. in Shidler on Sept. 18 after receiving a tip that a Kay County fugitive was at a residence.

Osage County confirmed that Seneca Alexis Thomas, 40, Red Rock, was wanted on a Kay County warrant issued in a 2021 case in which she was charged with drug trafficking and illegal drugs and bond set at $400,000.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., an Osage County Deputy located Thomas at an apartment in the 600 block of north Cosden and took her into custody without incident.

Thomas was subsequently transferred to the custody of the Kay County deputies and transported to the Kay County Detention Center.

Thomas was originally arrested on the charge in February 2021. On April 6, 2021 she was released on an own recognizance bond and a warrant with bond endorsed at $200,000 was issued. She was arrested four months later.

On Oct. 30 the court granted her re-admission to Drug Court and released her on an own recognizance bond. She failed to appear for a plea docket on July 1, 2024 and a warrant was issued with bond endorsed at $200,000.

She was arrested in November of 2025.

On Feb. 2, 2026 she was granted another own recognizance bond and later failed to appear for a court date on June 11, 2026.

She is currently being held in the county jail on $400,000 bond.
