PCPD welcomes new officer

The Ponca City Police Department welcomes Patrolman Michael Day.

Day graduated from the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training (C.L.E.E.T.)  Basic Police Academy in Ada, Ok. on April 19.On April 23, he took his Oath of Office at the Ponca City Public Safety Center and was sworn in by Municipal Judge William Kirkpatrick.

PCPD chief Don Bohon said Day has started the 16 week Field Training Program.

“We welcome officer Day and look forward to having him as part of our team and community,” said Bohon.
