NOC Legacy Award goes to Blackwell resident

TONKAWA — Blackwell resident Trenton Colvin is the recipient of this year’s Northern Oklahoma Alumni Legacy Scholarship. Colvin, a freshman, received the honor at the 2019 Alumni & Friends Reunion held at the Renfro Center at NOC on March 30.

Majoring in Business Administration, Colvin is the son of Jeff and Jennifer Colvin of Blackwell.  His grandmother Carolyn Colvin is a 1974 graduate of NOC. The scholarship is established through the Northern Oklahoma College Foundation for a student who has a parent or grandparent that is a Northern graduate.

Kirby Tickel-Hill, Director of Development and Donor Relations, presented the honor.
