U.S. Marshals arrest Texas fugitive in Blackwell

BLACKWELL — The United States Marshals arrested a Texas fugitive in Blackwell Monday morning during a traffic stop at the intersection of Main and Doolin.

Jason James Suggs, 44, Abilene, Texas, was arrested on a Texas Hold and Sarah E.L. Mikkelson, 38, Modesto, Calif., was arrested on a Kay County warrant. She is charged with a felony count of possession of forged instrument, which was filed on June 30 after an investigation by Ponca City police.

Suggs is facing allegations of continuous sexual abuse of a child in Texas.

According to Texas media outlets, a cash reward was offered this year for information leading to his arrest.Both were booked in the Kay County Detention Center. Mikkelson is being held on  $5,000 bond.
