UPDATE: Ponca City man convicted of impersonating another

NEWKIRK — On Aug. 19, 2024, Salinas entered a no contest plea to a felony count of falsely personate another to create liability. A count of conspiracy was dismissed. Sentencing for Salinas is deferred for four years.

Warrants issued for subject accused of conspiracy and falsely impersonating another

NEWKIRK — A warrant with bond endorsed at $15,000 is issued for Ezekial Delano Salinas, 20, Ponca City, by the Kay County District Court.

Salinas is charged with felony counts of conspiracy and falsely personate another to create liability.

Ponca City police report that on Oct. 21, 2021, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at Stop N Go located at Elm and Highland.

The officer reports smelling marijuana.

The driver was identified as Kim Suggs and she reportedly admitted to not having a driver’s license. 

The officer issued her a citation for driving with out a license.

Police searched the vehicle and report finding drug paraphernalia.

The passenger identified himself to police as Francisco Campos.

Campos was issued a citation for possession of paraphernalia and released to a family member.  Police later learned that the male was Salinas and that he had confirmed warrants. The charges were filed on June 9, 2022.
