Youth Police Academy students gain hands-on experience

PONCA CITY —  Students in Pioneer Tech’s Youth Police Academy took the opportunity to study the world of criminal justice. 

Under the guidance of instructor Retied PCPD officer Tom Burg, PCPD Officer Amy Ballinger, and PCPD Officer Caleb Peterson, students engaged in Crime Scene Investigation and learned about safety protocols as well as various police operations. 

The hands-on experience is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the field, preparing them for potential future careers in law enforcement and public safety.
