In other business, the regents approved summer residence hall rates for Tonkawa and Enid.  Students will be housed at Jets Hall in Enid and Mavs Hall in Tonkawa at a cost of $735 per month.

Also, the regents approved a resolution that will allow NOC to partner with the City of Enid to apply for a Community Development Block Grant that would fund the beginning of renovations at Failing Field on the NOC Enid campus.  The grant, if approved, would provide funding to remove the concrete bleachers, press box, and restrooms and construct four rows of bleachers for the facility.  More funding will be needed in the future to complete the renovation for the baseball/softball facility.

The board also approved the financial report, provided by Vice President of Financial Affairs Anita Simpson, including two purchases over $25,000.00.  One is an emergency roof replacement at the Vineyard Library Administration Building for $691,141.45 and a new Greenhouse at NOC Tonkawa for $149,990.90 as part of the current NASNTI Grant Project.
