Fairfax man killed in accident near Oilton

OILTON — The Oklahoma Patrol reports that a Fairfax resident was killed in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at 12:09 a.m. March 23 on Oklahoma 51 west of south 549th West Ave., three miles northwest of Oilton in Creek County.

Troopers report that Daylon Robertson, 22, Fairfax was traveling west when he reportedly went left of center, causing his vehicle and a 2010 Ford F 150 driven by, Ethan Tillotson, 20, Moore, to take evasive action. However, both vehicles

encountered each other on the north shoulder.

Troopers report that Robertson was pronounced dead at the scene by Cushing Fire paramedics.

Tillotson was transported to St. Francis hospital in Tulsa via Creek County EMS and admitted in fair condition with trunk injuries.

His passenger, Tyler Queen, 20, Selina, was airlifted to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City and admitted in fair condition with trunk internal injuries.

A second passenger, Devyn Wilhelm, 20, Moore, was transported to St. Francis in Tulsa via Creek County EMS and admitted in fair condition with arm and trunk internal injuries.

Troopers report that the accident is under investigation and that the cause of the accident is left of center and that no seatbelts were in use in either vehicle.
