OBN agent Nick Denewellis reports in the affidavit that on Oct. 30, Lieb sold him 27.9 grams of meth for $400 in the 200 block of east Highland.

On Jan. 8 a traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of Broadway Ave. and Lake Street.

During the traffic stop, Lieb stated he had “dope” on him. A search reportedly yielded 40.99 grams of meth and eight pills suspected to be fraudulent oxycodone containing fentanyl, and eight pills believed to be alprazolam.

A second case was filed in which Lieb is charged with trafficking in illegal drugs and two counts of unlawful possession of controlled drug with intent to distribute and a misdemeanor count of unlawful possession of a controlled drug.

Lieb was arrested and booked in the county jail on $150,000 bond.

On Jan. 18 attorney Scott Lofts was retained. However on Jan. 31, Loftis made a motion to withdraw by phone and the motion was granted. Thomas Griesedieck is now appointed to the case. Lieb remains in the county jail.
