Ponca City police logs Nov. 9-14

Nov. 9
At 10:33 a.m. a resident contacted police and reported that their child is being bullied at Lincoln Elementary. The caller reported that the child was punched in the chest and that the school has been notified of many incidents.
At 11:08 a.m. police arrested Melissa Daily at Atwood’s for DUI.
At 1:30 p.m. police responded to Broadway Plaza for a report of female crying. Police reported that it was Friday Nunn. At 1:59 p.m. RCB Bank reported a woman banging on the drive thru window and making gestures. Police reported that it was Nunn.
At 8:39 p.m. police received many reports of an explosion like sound and people seeing a cloud of smoke. The sound was heard in the 300 block of west Cleveland, 200 block of south Osage, 1000 block of west Grand, 300 block of south Osage, 300 block of north Birch, 300 block of south Elm. Police did not locate anything.
At 8:54 p.m. police arrested Robert Wilson at the Lazy K Motel for assaulting an officer.
At 9:50 p.m. residents in the 800 block of west Otoe, 200 block of south Pine reported a loud explosion and smoke coming from a big building. Police were unable to locate anything.
Nov. 10
At 9:03 a.m. police located a shot gun shell in the 1000 block of north Third Street.
At 1:10 p.m. police took a report on lewd acts reported at East Middle School.
At 2:49 p.m. police responded to Woodland Elementary for a report of possible child abuse. Blackwell police was notified as the alleged crime may have occurred in Blackwell. DHS was notified.
At 8:23 p.m. police responded to a report of a hit and run in the 300 block of Hampton Drive. Dearson Kios was arrested on warrants.
Nov. 11
At 5:20 a.m. police arrested Lively Collier for DUI at Lake and Pecan.
At 9:16 a.m. a resident reported that her daughter and niece could possibly be victims of sex trafficking in Dallas. Dallas police was contacted.
At 4:39 p.m. police confirmed warrants on Dakota Hicks and arrested him at Walmart.
At 10:53 p.m. police responded to 721 north Oak after a patient reportedly suffering from a heart condition and fainting, fled from an ambulance crew. He was not located.
At 11:57 p.m. police arrested Jaelon Frederick in the 1200 block of south 9th Street on a domestic charge.
Nov. 12
At 10:45 a.m. police responded to the 1000 block of north Union for a report of a subject living in a tent behind a business.
At 6:53 p.m. police responded to 721 north Oak for numerous reports of gunshots. (see story)
Nov. 13
At 12:05 a.m. police arrested Joshua Estrada, 19, following a pursuit that ended near 12th and Ponca. Darin Mooney, 22, was also arrested for carrying firearms while under the influence.
At 8:10 a.m. police took a vehicle vandalism report in the 100 block of south Birch.
At 8:11 a.m. an officer did a follow up at 747 north Oak and at 733 north Oak. At 9:14 a.m. a resident at 737 north Oak called the station to speak to an officer about the follow ups.
At 11:17 a.m. police responded to the 300 block of north Osage for a report of a female who reportedly attempted to stab a male. A report was made.
At 2:13 p.m. a Logan County deputy contacted PCPD and asked that an officer tell a male subject to stop harassing an ex-employer via internet.
At 5 p.m. police received a report of a black male wearing a black hoodie, pants and shoes in the area of First and Cleveland. The caller reported that the male’s pants were pulled down and that he was fully exposed.
At 6:23 p.m. police responded to 1500 Hudson for a report of an assault. A report was made.
At 6:41 p.m. police responded to Fifth and Prospect for a report of a vehicle that hit a deer.
Nov. 14
At 5:04 a.m. a resident in the 1100 block of north Oak reported a stolen motorcycle. It was located behind Liberty Elementary.
At 8:15 a.m. police responded to Ponca City High School for a report of a fight in which a teacher was struck.
At 9:45 a.m. police took a report on vandalism at the Senior Center at 319 west Grand.
At 10:35 a.m. police responded to Walmart for a report of a someone taking $100 from a female in the self checkout. The store reportedly has video.
At 3:12 p.m. police responded to the fire station for a report of a female who was confused. Grand Lakes was notified.
At 7:45 p.m. police responded to Bradley Apartments for a report of a 12-year-old destroying a house and threatening to destroy a car. The child was reportedly armed with scissors.
