PERRY — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that a Tecumseh woman is injured following a four-vehicle accident that occurred at 11:32 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 35 in the southbound lanes north of the 190 mile marker, four miles north of Perry in Noble County.

Troopers report that four vehicles were southbound when a 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Tawana Holton, 52, Tecumseh, struck the rear of a 2012 Ford F-150 driven by Temur Tsertvadze, 42, Brooklyn, New York. The impact caused Holton’s car to roll three times and the Ford F150 came to rest about 120 feet south of the Trailblazer.

A 2013 Audi Q5 driven by Joanna Cubbies, 22, Houston, Texas and a 2023 Kia Forte, driven by Cynthia Zachary, 47, Noble, struck the debris from the collision that were in the roadway.

Troopers report that Holton was transported via Perry ambulance to Stillwater Medical Center where she is listed in good condition with head and trunk injuries. The other three drivers were reportedly not injured.

Troopers cite the cause of the collision as inattention and unsafe speed and report that all drivers were using seatbelts.

Investigated by Trooper Brown No. 308 of Troop K. Assisted by Perry EMS, Perry Fire Department and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
