The following information is provided by Ponca City police.

May 12

At 1:15 a.m. a caller inside a Gardner Cab said he received a fake $20 bill. An officer responded and reported the subject received real money.

At 9:45 a.m. warrants were confirmed on Laura Reynolds.

At 10:01 a.m. police took a report on child neglect.

At 10:08 a.m. police took a report on harassment via social media.

At 11:01 a.m. police took a vandalism report in the 300 block of south Birch.

At 2:57 p.m. police arrested Joshua Allen near the Beauty Supply in the 1900 block of north Union for public intoxication.

At 4:05 p.m. police took a report on a three vehicle accident at Liberty and Union.

At 9:09 p.m. police took a report on a two-vehicle accident at 5th and Emporia.

May 13

At 6:45 a.m. police arrested Cecelia Flores in the 800 block of north Elm on burglary and domestic charges.

At 1:19 p.m. police took a report on an aggressive dog in the 200 block of south Palm.

At 2:36 p.m. police took a report on an accident in the Braum’s parking lot.

At 8:02 p.m. police confirmed warrants on Christopher Wilcoxson.

At 8:52 p.m. police responded to Walmart for a report of a male subject with red hair wearing a tan coat who reportedly stole multiple items and then west on Prospect. A report was made.

At 9:06 p.m. police took a report on a two-vehicle accident at 14th and Highland.

May 14

At 2:29 a.m. police arrested Melissa Matthews on a domestic charge at Paladin Apartments.

At 6:01 a.m. police responded to an accident on Summit between Peachtree and Sunset. The vehicle hit a telephone pole. No injuries were reported and the driver was cited.

At 7:34 a.m. police took a burglary report in the 800 block of north 1st Street.

At 12:13 p.m. police responded to Kygar and Frontier for a report of a vehicle that went into the ditch.

At 3:37 p.m. Houston, Texas police issued a BOLO on a 2015 Toyota Camry driven by a female believed to be traveling from Houston to Wichita, Kan.

At 5:20 p.m. police arrested a 15-year-old teen at Copper Ridge Apartments on a domestic complaint.

May 14

At 7:26 p.m. police arrested Michael Wayne Fierce on drug charges at 5th and College.

At 9:24 p.m. a caller reported hitting a deer on south Hoover Road. Sumner County was contacted.

At 10:31 p.m. police arrested Ashley Mies on warrants at the Valero.


The following information is provided by the Kay County Sheriff’s Department.

May 14

At 12:51 a.m. a deputy arrested Brittany Klinger during a traffic stop at Highway 177 and Highway 60. The deputy reported that Klinger spit on him from the cage window while being transported causing the deputy to have to pull over and secure her.

At 6:22 a.m. a deputy reported that there was a one-vehicle accident on the Chikaskia River Bridge on Highway 60 east of P Street. OHP and Tonkawa were notified. An ambulance was dispatched. The driver was transported to Blackwell hospital.

At 12:07 p.m. deputies responded to a rollover accident at Highway 77 and Coleman Road. PCPD advised it was a two-vehicle accident. Fire and ambulance units responded.
