Hearing set in suit filed against Batter Than Good Baking Company

NEWKIRK — A court date is set in Kay County District Court in a case filed against the owners of Batter Than Good Baking Company.

Rebecca Casillas and Jesse Casillas, both of Pawhuska, are being sued in small claims court by Britton Thomas Angle of Blackwell.

Court documents show that Angle alleges that he is owed $4,112 in wages that the couple reportedly refuses to pay.

The Casillas’ were served by an Osage County deputy on March 3 and a hearing is set for March 22.

In 2022, the couple planned to open Batter Than Good Baking Company on Sept. 25 at  202 east Grand Ave. in Ponca City.  But instead opened a location in the City Central Building in December.

The company’s Facebook page and website are no longer active.
