Kay County Sheriff logs March 10-13

The following information is provided by the Kay County Sheriff’s Department.

March 10

At 7:57 a.m. KSO received a report of fraud charge. A report was made.

At 9:46 a.m. a deputy arrested Sage Sawyer on warrants.

At 10:17 a.m. a deputy arrested Kassie Caldwell on warrants and Keshia LeClair on warrants.

At 3:26 p.m. a deputy responded to 1090 Church Street in Kildare for a report of harassment. A subject was reportedly throwing out chicken feed to lure chickens onto the road so that he could run over them. Justin Lee Cook was arrested.

At 4:01 p.m. Cleveland County confirmed warrants on Bart Canaday.

At 6:54 p.m. a deputy arrested Cody Hicks on warrants at Highway 60 and Waverly.

At 9:19 p.m. BIA requested assistance from deputies for a probable cause search. Three subjects were arrested.

At 11:21 p.m. a deputy conducted a traffic stop at Highway 77 and Home Road. Quinn Wheeler was arrested.

March 11

At 2:14 p.m. PCPD confirmed warrants on David Stogsdill.

At 6:57 p.m. KSO received a report of a trash dump on Brake Road between Q Street and R Street. A deputy responded and reported it was lost property that included pottery and antique items. A report was made.

March 12

At 3:31 a.m. Newkirk police requested a wrecker to Main and 9th Street. One subject was arrested.

At 4:44 a.m. Tonkawa police advised KSO of an accident at Riverview and 13th Street. An ambulance, police and OHP responded. A female reportedly hit a sign at the culvert. OHP made a report.

March 13

At 8:17 a.m. the Department of Agriculture reported they would be in a chopper hunting feral hogs in the Sarge Creek area.

At 8:30 a.m. PCPD confirmed warrants on Timber Mauk.

At 4:10 p.m. PCPD reported an open 911 call pinging to a phone inside Phillips 66. P66 security followed up and found no one in distress.

At 8:28 p.m. KSO received a report of a trash dump on west Highland between T Street and Ranch Drive. A deputy responded and located potting soil bags. A marijuana grow location in the area was contacted and advised to clean it up.

At 10:21 p.m. a deputy stopped to assist a motorist on north S Street between Dry and Canteen Roads. The female was drunk. A deputy conducted warrant checks. Jami Byers was arrested.
