Ponca City police logs March 10-12

The following information is provided by Ponca City police.

March 10

At 1:15 a.m. officers became engaged in a pursuit with a stolen vehicle near Hartford and Union. The vehicle was abandoned at Meadowbrook Village and released to the owner.

At 8:02 a.m. police took a report on a hit and run at 14th and Prospect. A black Honda Accord reportedly rear ended a vehicle and left going north on 14th Street.

At 8:59 a.m. a probation officer requested assistance from police in regards to fugitive Tonner Warrior. Police responded to the 500 block of Lora nut did not find Warrior. (see story)

At 12:05 p.m. police responded to the 100 block of Westbury for a report of subjects in white BMW who stole a dog. Polcie made contact and learned that the driver thought the dog was lost. The dog was returned to the owner.

At 4:37 p.m. police responded to a report of a 10-year-old child who left home. The child was located at Grand and Oak and returned to the mother.

At 5:59 p.m. police responded to the 200 block of N. 11th Street for a report of a disturbance. Clifford LeClair was arrested on a domestic charge.

At 6:37 p.m. police responded to Dollar General in the 700 block of N. 14th Street for a report of a hit and run. The suspect vehicle is described as a two door white Ford truck. A report was made.

At 7:33 p.m. police and ambulance responded to 4th and Emporia for a report of an accident. A report was made.

At 7:43 p.m. police took a report on a Jeep that was vandalized at Paladin Apartments.

At 8:26 p.m. police responded to a three-vehicle accident in the 2200 block of Joe. A report was made.

At 8:30 p.m. police responded to 14th and Hazel for a report of an accident.

March 11

At 12:06 a.m. police responded to the 1400 block of McGraw for a report of male being assaulted. A warrant request was made.

At 2:03 a.m. police responded to the area of Ash and Hartford for a report of a vehicle that look to have been in an accident. The car was towed and the driver was not found. An accident report was made.

At 2:23 a.m. police took a report on a taxi driver who was threatened.

At 12:50 p.m. police responded to the 700 block of north Oak for a report of a juvenile with knife. 

At 1:26 p.m. police took a report on sexual abuse between juveniles in the 2200 block of north Ash.

At 2:13 p.m. police arrested David Stogsdill on warrants. 

At 2:44 p.m. police assisted the D.A.’s office with an investigation in the 200 block of north 5th Street.

At 8:34 p.m. police arrested Joshua Allen for public intoxication at Hall of Heroes.

At 8:53 p.m. police took a report on a 2017 white Honda Pilot that was stolen from the 200 block of Lansbrook.

At 9:59 p.m. police took a report on a shoplifter at Walmart who was wearing a black hoodie and white mask.

March 12

At 3:20 a.m. police responded to the 700 block of north Oak for a report of a prowler on a porch. An intoxicated male subject with a loaded firearm was located. The subject was locked out of his home. Officers were instructed that they would have to leave him outside with the firearm if he could not get back into his home. A key was located and the male was placed back inside his home.

At 6:37 a.m. police responded to America’s Best Inn for a report of a vehicle burglarized.

At 10:21 a.m. police responded to Hampton Inn for a report of a dog left behind. Attempts to contact the owner failed. 

At 5:02 p.m. police responded to Valero at 4th and South Ave. for a report of people fighting. One subject was arrested but was not immediately booked because of name and birthday conflicts.

At 5:27 p.m. police responded to the 2100 block of Mary for a report of a 5-year-old not breathing after the child reportedly ingested a type of drug. Police report that the child survived and that a follow up was done.

At 7:35 p.m. police responded to the 700 block of north Oak for a report of a juvenile who ran away. At 8:17 p.m. the child returned.
