Ponca City Concert Series membership drive begins March 11
March 9, 2023 | HeadlinesPONCA CITY — The 2023-24 Ponca City Concert Series membership drive kicks off March 11.
The series provides entertainment through a series of performances held at The Poncan.
Jill Critchfield, board member and publicity chair for the concert series encourages everyone to get a membership.
“The talent is of such good quality you forget where you are and lose track of time,” she said.
“For me personally, it helped me escape a bad time in 2020. I attended the performance by Sons of Serendip and the vocalist’s voice was so smooth that it took me on a journey. I forgot everything and I remember thinking I had the stupidest smile on my face and I didn’t even care. I was in a low period and the performance was so good for me and healing.”
Critchfield said after her experience the concert series became a passion for her and she jumped at the chance to join the board and help promote the events.
