Court dates set for pair arrested on drug and firearm charges
March 6, 2023 | CourtsNEWKIRK — A status docket is set for Chelsea Anne Ester-Jolly 35, Ponca City, in Kay County District Court.
Ester is facing seven charges including trafficking in illegal drugs, firearm charges, concealing stolen property, and assaulting an officer.
District Attorney Task Force officer Ron Teel reports in the affidavit that on Jan. 16, officials executed a search warrant at 909 east Maple in Ponca City.
Officials report that Ester and Jerry Ross Cawood, 40, Stillwater, were located and arrested.


Officials reportedly searched the home and report finding loaded firearms and 11 grams of meth.
A vehicle was searched and inside officials report locating nearly three dozen syringes, and 266 grams of methamphetamine.
Cawood is facing six offenses including trafficking in illegal drugs, conspiracy, firearm charges and concealing stolen property.
He is being held on $75,000 bond.
On Feb. 3, Ester’s bond was lowered to $35,000 and she is free on bond on the condition that she have no contact with firearms and or drugs.
