Early voting set for March 2-3 on SQ 820
February 24, 2023 | Featured|HeadlinesNEWKIRK — Early voting begins Thursday March 2 on the State Question 820 Initiative Petition No. 434.
Voters who will not be able to make it to the polls on Election Day, have the option of voting early at the Kay County Election Board.
“You do not need to provide an excuse to voter early,” said secretary Carol Leaming. “Oklahoma allows early voting for all elections conducted through the State Election Board. This is a great option for those who will be out of town on Election Day or who want to avoid long lines,” Leaming said.
Early voting is available March 2-3 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Election Board office, 219 S. Main Street in the Kay County Administration Building in Newkirk.
Early voting is not available at polling locations. For questions contact the Election Board at 580-362-2130 or e-mail kaycounty@elections.ok.gov.
