Ponca City High School bowlers compete in Regional Tournament; Girls advance to State

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Ponca City High School Girls Bowling Team defeated Tonkawa and Bethany in the Feb. 18 Regional Tournament held at AMF Windsor Lanes in Oklahoma City. 

As a result the 2022 defending champions have advanced to the State Tournament set for Feb. 25 at Oakwood Bowl in Enid.

The Ponca City boys placed fourth in seeding but were defeated by Putnam City West during match play, ending their chance to qualify for the State tournament.  

Five boys teams and four girls teams competed for the chance to advance.
