Perry resident killed in accident near Morrison
February 3, 2023 | Headlines|PoliceMORRISON — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that a Perry resident was killed and that another is injured following a two-vehicle accident that occurred at 5:26 p.m. Feb. 2 on U.S. 64 west of County Road 305, four miles east of Morrison in Noble County.
Troopers report that a white Chevrolet pickup was traveling east on U.S. 64 and the a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling west.
The pickup reportedly crossed the center line and struck the Tahoe causing it to depart the roadway to the right and overturn before coming to rest on its wheels. The white pick up left the scene.
Troopoers report that Barbara A. Holloway, 47, Perry, was driving the Tahoe and was not injured.
Her passenger James L. R. Lofton, 32, Perry was killed and a second passenger Charles Robbins, 26, was transported by Pawnee EMS to Stillwater Medical Center in Stillwater and later transferred by Pawnee EMS to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he is listed in good condition with an arm injury.
The cause of the accident is under investigations and troopers are searching for the white pick up. Anyone with information on the white pickup is asked to call their local law enforcement.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol’s Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on US 64 near County Road 305 in Noble County on Feb. 2 at approximately 5:20 p.m.. This location is approximately one mile west of the Noble/Pawnee County line.
A tan Chevrolet Tahoe and a white pickup collided, and the pickup continued east toward Pawnee without stopping. A passenger in the Tahoe died. The pickup is missing part of the driver’s side rearview mirror and could possibly have damage to the driver’s side doors and/or quarter panels. Evidence indicates the pickup was either a Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra between the year models 2007-2013.
