Sentencing deferred in larceny case

NEWKIRK — A former employee of Supported Community Lifestyles is now convicted in Kay County District Court of stealing money out of a coworker’s purse.

Carlos Adolfo Roblez, 37, Ponca City, entered a no contest plea to an amended charge of misdemeanor petit larceny.

Roblez was arrested and charged on Aug. 12, 2022 with larceny from a building after a female reported $400 missing from her purse.

Sentencing is deferred for one year and he was ordered to pay $400 in restitution.
