Law enforcement logs Jan. 9-10

The following information is provided by the Kay County Sheriff’s Department.

Jan. 9

At 1:11 a.m. the sheriff’s department received a report of a domestic in progress in the 7500 block of south 44th Street. Deputies responded an arrested Joel Hembree.

At 8:20 a.m. the Department of Corrections Probation and Parole confirmed warrants on Cash Cole.

At 8:46 a.m. Kay County Probation and Parole confirmed warrants on Tonner Warrior. Warrior was arrested.

At 2:48 p.m. Kay County Probation and Parole confirmed warrants on Amy Mayfield.

At 5:41 p.m. deputies received a report of an accident in a field north of 9500 block of north Pleasantview Road. The caller reported that the car was rolled over on its side. The caller could not find an occupant. Deputies and OHP were advised. The owner was notified. She advised that her daughter told her it was wrecked. No injuries were reported and the owner retrieved the vehicle.

At 7:19 p.m. Ponca City police advised KSO of a  deceased person at a home in the 100 block of Fairview. A report was made.

Jan. 10

At 10:02 a.m. police responded to Harrell Automotve for a report of vandalism to a sheriff’s unit that was at the location.

At 1:18 p.m. police and fire responded to the Blue Moon Restaurant for a report of a fire. The fire was extinguished and the owner contacted.

At 1:36 p.m. police responded to the 1300 block of N. 4th Street for a report of stolen EarPods.  A tracker pinged at East Middle School and the item was returned. No charges filed.

At 2:01 p.m. the Osage County Sheriff’s Department issued a BOLO for a suicidal subject who had reportedly made threats against his family and himself. He was last seen traveling in a black Ford F150 extended cab.

At 4:54 p.m. police received a report of a domestic near Country Kitchen. A female was reported trying to get away from a male. Officers report the incident was all verbal.

At 5:08 p.m. police arrested Jessy Davis at Oak and Broadway on a complaint of making threats to do great bodily harm.

At 5:21 p.m. police responded to a report of a dog attack in the 100 block of Cooley. 

At 5:28 p.m. police responded to Country Kitchen for a report of two male subjects trying to harm the caller. The caller advised they had brass knuckles. Police made contact and arrested Cody Cruzan for dog spray or neuter licensing fail to produce intact permit.

At 7:18 p.m. police arrested Ivy Delodge for failure to comply with required compulsory insurance law.

Jan. 10

At 7:24 a.m. Blackwell police took a report of on missing items in the 1200 block of Sunset. An auto burglary report was made at the home next door.

At 10:30 a.m. police took a report on Amazon driver bitten by a dog in the 1100 block of north Main.

At 1:06 a.m. police responded to a report of a single car rollover at Hubbard Road and west 177. No other information was reported.
