Ponca City police logs Dec. 25-29

The following information is provided by Ponca City police.

Dec. 25

At 5:57 a.m. police arrested Larena Others in the 2500 block of Eagle.

Dec. 26

At 2:42 a.m. police responded to the Ashley Inn for a report of a disturbance. Charles Arkeketa was arrested for public intoxication.

At 4:59 a.m. police responded to Shawn Manor for a report of an incident with an employee involving a controlled substance.

At 12:26 p.m. police responded to Walmart for a report of two-vehicle accident with possible injuries. A report was made.

At 12:52 p.m. police took a report on a domestic by strangulation.

At 6:50 p.m. police arrested Ann Smith for petit larceny at Atwoods. Also arrested was Steven Hartness on burglary, bail jumping, meth and larceny charges.

Dec. 27

At 6:35 a.m. a resident in the 2000 block of north 6th Street reported his vehicle was parked in the middle of the street and he didn’t know what happened. The vehicle was towed and a report was made.

At 7:49 a.m. PCPD responded to DMB Storage at 220 west Central for a report of three units burglarized and ransacked. A report was made.

At 10:19 a.m. police responded to the 3400 block of Crown for a report of a domestic. A report was made.

At 10:25 a.m. police took a report on a shed broken into in the 1000 block of west Liberty.

At 12:26 p.m. police received a report of a father and two kids being housed at the Ashley Inn. The caller was concerned because the male subject was claiming on social media that he and the children had been homeless since July. A welfare check was requested.

At 1:41 p.m. a resident in the 2100 block of Jane reported a 2007 white Ford 150 stolen. The truck reportedly had a full tank of gas. A minor scratch is on the passenger side.

At 2:22 p.m. PCPD responded to a report of an accident at 14th and Prospect. A black Honda Pilot and a white Kia were involved. The Honda was towed.

At 3:55 p.m. officers responded to Spin City for a report of a burglary.

At 5:06 p.m. PCPD responded to the 800 block of S. 13th Street for a report of a truck that hit a residence and left left southbound. The resident was notified and responded to board up the side of the home. The truck was described as a maroon Nissan. A report was made.

Dec. 28

At 12:08 a.m. an officer took a report on a hit and run at Dollar Tree.

At 1:45 a.m. an ambulance transported a toddler to the ER for seizures.

At 2:18 a.m. police made an additional incident number concerning an incident in the 500 block of north Pine.

At 9:01 a.m. an officer spoke to a subject who taking up residence in the police lobby. She refused to speak with Grand Lakes.

At 10:20 a.m. police received a report of a car crash in the area of Kelley and South Ave. OHP was notified.

At 10:26 a.m. police recovered a stolen Ford F 150 in the 100 block of S. Oak. The owner was notified.

At 2:23 p.m. police received numerous report of a toddler driving a small car in the roadway near the RecPlex. An officer made contact with the parents and the child. The parents advised they were headed to the park and that the child decided to “floor it” to get to the park.

At 3:29 p.m. police took a report on a theft of utilities in the 800 block of N. 5th Street.

At 4:58 p.m. police checked on a subject reported to be stumbling near the library. Police arrested Wesley Gaines for public intoxication.

At 6:31 p.m. police received a report of a subject in the middle of the roadway in the 700 block of N. Oak. The male subject was pacing back and fourth and growling at people. An officer drove by and was unable to locate the subject who was on a porch. The subject continued to pace in the street for a short time.

At 8:02 p.m. fire units responded to a report of a fire in the backyard at Meadow and Prospect. The fire was extinguished.

At 9:45 p.m. a 911 caller reported that a two-year-old was having seizures. An ambulance was being towed. The caller reported he would take the child to the hospital in a vehicle. An ambulance met the subject at 5th and Highland and transported the child.

At 10:21 a.m. police took a report on a domestic in the 3500 block of D Street.

At 11:07 p.m. police responded to the La Quinta Inn for a report of two juvenile males who broke a window and stole two firearms. an adult chased them and got one gun back. A report was made and both guns were recovered. A phone belonging to one of the suspects was found.

Dec. 29

At 2:18 a.m. police arrested a 17-year-old in the 2000 block of north Osage for curfew violation.
