The following information is provided by Ponca City police.

Nov. 23

At 1:46 a.m. police arrested Adrienne Williams on traffic charges and DUI at 14th and Hazel.

At 10:58 a.m. police took a report on a traffic stop in the 1300 block of N. Ash. A red Nissan pickup was towed.

At 12:17 p.m. Ponca Nursing requested an officer in reference of an allegation of abuse. The nursing home is doing an internal investigation for rough handling and was required to notified police.

At 3:17 p.m. police took a report on a two-vehicle accident at Grand and Waverly involving a white Buick and gray Sedan.

At 7:25 p.m. police responded to the Valero in the 300 block of west Grand for a report of a beer run. Caleb Buffalohead was arrested for petit larceny.

Nov. 24

At 8:23 a.m. police responded to the 400 block of north Birch for a report of a male assaulting a female. Grand Lakes took the subject into custody and police made a warrant request.

At 12:35 p.m. police received a report of three dogs chasing people in the 700 block of north Union.

At 6:32 p.m. police arrested Justin Morgan for public intoxication at the Oncu in the 1600 block fo west South Ave.

At 9:32 p.m. police responded to the 1700 block of Bradbary for a report of a male who reportedly picked the lock on the bathroom while a juvenile was taking a shower. The suspect reportedly left and was possibly armed with a firearm. Police located the male at Walmart.  A report was made.

Nov. 25

At 6:59 a.m. police took a report on a two-vehicle accident at Hartford and Fairview.

At 9:37 a.m. police took a report on a two-vehicle accident at Cedar and Hartford. A Mazada was towed from the scene.

At 4:50 p.m.  police arrested Jennifer Cruzan on warrants in the 1000 block of east Walnut.

At 8:34 p.m. police arrested Magdalene Jekkar on warrants at Highland and Poplar.

At 11:42 p.m. police arrested Vanessa Dent on traffic charges in the 3300 block of El Camino. Samantha Allen was arrested on a burglary and drug charge.

Nov. 26

At 8:16 a.m. police took a report broken windows at Liberty Elementary.

At 6:10 p.m. police arrested Elvin Fans on warrants in the 600 block of S. 3rd Street.

At 8:25 p.m. police arrested James McBride on warrants.

At 9:16 p.m. police received  a report of a Pitbull and a little white dog that attacked a dog in the 400 block of west Fresno. At 10:04 p.m. the pair of dogs reportedly attacked a cat. A report was made. 

Nov. 27

At 2:04 a.m. police arrested Eligah Schooley on drug charges in the 500 block of S. 9th Street.

At 3:29 a.m. police arrested Damontray Dillworth on domestic charges in the 900 block of N. Pine.

Nov. 28

At 12:53 a.m. police took a report on a juvenile female who overdosed and was being treated at Alliance Medical.

At 8:53 a.m. police took a report on a two-vehicle accident at 14th and Hubbard.

At 11:47 a.m. police assisted a resident whose doorknob fell off and he was stuck in his residence. Officers got the door opened.

At 1:41 p.m. police took a report on a male subject who was unresponsive at Meadowbrook Village. CPR was administered. The subject was transported to the hospital. 

At 8:27 p.m. police received a message from Garfield County concerning a 2015 Chevy Silverado pickup stolen from C&C Pipeline in the 600 block of S. Boomer Road in Enid. The suspects are reportedly suspected of arson of the business.


The following information is provided by Blackwell police. 

Nov. 22

At 5:30 a.m. police received a report of a vehicle that hit the front porch of a residence in the 1300 block of west Lincoln. 

At 11:29 a.m. police responded to a two-vehicle accident at Main and Padon. No injuries were reported.

At 1:50 p.m. police responded to an accident involving a semi and a vehicle at Walmart.

At 2:39 p.m. police received a report of a road rage incident on I-35. OHP was notified.

Nov. 23

At 11:22 a.m. a report is logged on a traffic stop in the Walmart parking lot. No other details are logged.

Nov. 24

At 12:18 a.m. OHP notified Blackwell of a homicide suspect traveling on I-35. (see story)

At 4:46 p.m. Blackwell fire units responded to a report of a dryer smoking in the 1100 block of S. Main Street.

Nov. 28

Numerous traffic stops with no information is logged.

At 4:30 p.m. fire units responded to a report of a semi truck sleeper on fire on I-35 at mile marker 227.

At 5:29 p.m. police arrested Donnie Hand on warrants in the 200 block of west Blackwell.


The following information is provided by the Kay County Sheriff’s Department.

Nov. 28

At 6:45 a.m. a deputy responded to a residence in Braman for a report of a juvenile who did not want to go to school. The deputy reported the kid was getting ready to go.

At 12:11 p.m. a resident reported multiple hay bales stolen from the 3700 block of west Hubbard Road. A deputy spoke to a hired hand who said he believes the bales were moved.

At 1:15 p.m. a resident in the 8300 block of north Highway 77 reported a ball hitch stolen. A report was made.

At 4 p.m. a resident requested options concerning goats and ducks eating his plants and making messes on his property.
