The following information is provided by Blackwell police.

Nov. 15

At 11:12 a.m. police received a report of a rollover accident near the stateliness. An ambulance responded but was unable to locate.

AT 4:11 p.m. police took a domestic violence report.

At 9:41 p.m. police received a report of a box van that struck a deer on Highway 11 and 140th Street. OHP was notified.


The following information is provided by Ponca City police.

Nov. 15

At 6:11 a.m. police responded to the Guest Inn for a report of a stolen black Dodge pickup. The vehicle was later returned.

At 8:16 a.m. officers responded to a home on Spring Road to assist an ambulance with entry.

At 8:45 a.m. police took a petit larceny report at West Middle School.

At 10:16 a.m. police took a report at Sharp’s Pawn Shop on a petit larceny.

At 11:49 a.m. police arrested Steven Roy, 62, on petit larveny charges at 2nd and Grand.

At 11:51 a.m. police arrested Johnathan Nelson on warrants in the 1100 block of east Ponca.

At 12:19 p.m. police took a report on a theft in the 2000 block of Mary.

At 1:37 p.m. police responded to the Guest Inn for a report of a subject trying to get into vehicles. Police arrested Joshua Shrewsbury for larceny of an auto.

At 5:14 p.m. police responded to the 1400 block of N. 7th Street for a report of a teen destroying property. A 17-year-old was arrested on a domestic charge.

At 5:44 p.m. police received a report of a male beating his mother in the 800 block of S. 9th Street. The teen was transported to the youth shelter. He later ran away and returned to the residence. Police returned him to the shelter.

At 6:42 p.m. police arrested Jeremy Smith for driving with out a license at Pine at Overbrook.

At 7:51 p.m. police took a report on a stolen Chrysler at the Pioneer Woman Inn.

At 8:42 p.m. police responded to the 400 block of S. Osage for a report of a male throwing knives and a male assaulted with a candle. A report was made.

Nov. 16

At 2:28 a.m. police responded to Murphy’s USA for a report of a break in. A security camera reported captured two males on tape, one wearing a yellow hoodie and brown mask. The other was wearing a yellow vest and a blue and red hoodie. The subjects were located and arrested in the 2100 block of Joe. One was 15 and one was 13.

At 7:07 a.m. police arrested Shain Kinney in the 500 block of Airline Drive for driving under suspension.

At 7:44 a.m. police responded to a three-vehicle accident at 5th and Emporia.

At 7:51 a.m. police responded to a two-vehicle accident at Birch and Broadway.

At 12:59 p.m. police took a burglary report in the 400 block of east Detroit.

At 1:31 p.m. Fayette County Georgia contacted PCPD in reference to threats made over social media. A report was made.

At 1:37 p.m. police took a report on a stolen chrome book.

At 3:54 p.m. police arrested a 17-year-old male on a juvnile pickup order.

At 5:07 p.m. police took a report on a stolen wallet.

At 7:31 p.m. police arrested Kyle Lawson on domestic charges.

At 8:06 p.m. police arrested Matthew Stevens in the 700 block of N. Elm on warrants and Cody Ross on warrants.

At 10:23 p.m. police received a report of a stolen 1997 Yamaha motorcycle from Stillwater. 


The following information is provided by the Kay County Sheriff’s Department.

Nov. 16

At 11:50 a.m. KSO received a report of cows that appear to be malnourished. The caller reported carcasses in the field on R Street between Adobe and Brake Roads. A deputy responded and reported a subject was there feeding the cows cakes.

At 12:50 p.m. a caller reported that an older male ran into his back hoe on River Road at the Arkansas River Bridge. OHP and deputies responded. No reports were issued by OHP.

At 1:55 p.m. a resident reported her dog was injured and that the vet said the injuries were caused by a machete. 

At 1:59 p.m. a caller reported that some people were having boat issued near Coon Creek. OHP was notified.

At 4:42 p.m. a deputy served a protective order to Michael Vance. (see story)

At 8:18 p.m. PCPD confirmed warrants on Matthew Ross Steven.
