Bowlers sought for State High School Bowling Program

TONKAWA — Time to build a Boys’ Bowling team for the Oklahoma High School Bowling Program is running out.  

The free High School Bowling Program meets at the Hub Bowling Arena in the Tonkawa Casino on Mondays and Thursdays at 4 p.m.  

Several bowlers are needed to field a team.  

No prior bowling experience is needed, just need to be in good academic standing and have a willingness to compete.  

Transportation to the practice sessions is available. Students interested can attend a practice sessions during the month of November.  

Other practice times can be arranged to fit the student’s schedule.  Practice sessions last until approximately 5 p.m.  

Competition will begin in December and run until mid-February.
