The following information is provided by Ponca City police.

Sept. 6

At 7:16 a.m. police responded to the 1000 block of Shirlee Ave. for a report of a teen assaulting a female. At 15-year-old was arrested.

At 11:15 a.m. police took a report on harassment reported in the 600 block of Shannon.

At 2:44 p.m. police arrested Richard Price on warrants at 4th and Hartford.

At 3:53 p.m. police received a report that wanted fugitive Curtis Love was at a residence in the 1400 block of McGraw. Love was arrested on an indecent exposure warrant and transported to the county jail. (see story)

At 3:54 p.m. police arrested Christopher Choney on a domestic charge in the 2200 block of John.

At 5:05 p.m. police responded to Farmers Insurance at 216 east Grand for a report of a male hitting the windows and threatening people. He was located at 2nd and Grand running into the roadway. He was transported to Grand Lake.

At 6:05 p.m. police responded to the Stop N Go in the 500 block fo west Highland for a report of drugs found in the store.

At 8:12 p.m. police took a report on tires stolen from UPS property.

At 8:16 p.m. police took a report on a broken front door at Stretch A Dollar.

At 11:54 p.m. police received a report of an intoxicated female in the 100 block of S. Ash. An officer responded the woman was beat up between Palm and Lake.

Sept. 7

At 1:53 a.m. police took a report on a robbery reported in the 700 block of west Oklahoma.

At 5:19 a.m. police took a report on an auto burglary in the 1000 block of N. Birch. Credit cards were reported missing.

At 11:46 a.m. police took a report on threats made on Facebook.

At 11:58 a.m. police cited the driver of a vehicle at Osage and Summit for drugs found in the vehicle.

At 12:24 p.m. police responded to a report of a male fighting himself at the intersection of 10th and Highland.

At 2:54 p.m. police responded to City Hall for a report of a subject there who was asked to leave but instead started walking around the building. A warrant request was made.

At 3:35 p.m. police took a report on an assault and battery at Ponca City High School.

At 4:03 p.m. police took a report on a company vehicle reported stolen from Mertz. It is described as a white 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 tag, GMS 618 and was last seen on Sept. 3.

At 4:55 p.m. police responded to the 700 block of N. Oak for a report of a red truck with no windshield traveling up and down the alley between Oak and Pine at high rates of speed. Officers made contact with two brothers at 721 N. Oak and issued a citation.

At 9:39 p.m. police took a report on blackmail in the 700 block of S. 11th Street.

At 9:40 p.m. police took  report on a domestic in the 900block of east Otoe.

At 9:44 p.m. police responded to Subway for a report of someone who tried to break in. A report was made.

Sept. 6

At 7:09 p.m. police arrested Robert Nixie on warrants.

At 11:49 p.m. police responded to the 1300 block of west Lincoln for a report of a female threatening to harm herself.


The following information is provided by the Kay County Sheriff’s Department.

Sept. 7

At 12:16 a.m. an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper in Oklahoma City confirmed warrants on Walter Perkins.

At 12:03 p.m. Bobby Rolland was arrested by a deputy.

At 3:04 p.m. a deputy responded to the 1600 block of Blackard Lane after a resident reported she has power of attorney on her mother and that another female picked up her mother and was attempting to access financial information. A deputy requested a PCPD officer but then canceled the request. Extra patrol was requested for the 5500 block of east Hartford and the deputy determined it is a civil matter.
