Sheriff radio logs Aug. 3-6

The following information is provided by the Kay County Sheriff’s Department.

Aug. 3

At 12:06 p.m.Wichita probation confirmed warrants on Michell Bonham.

At 1238 p.m. KSO received a report of a suspicious vehicle on 140th mile north of Riverview. A subject said a heavily tattooed male had been in the vehicle. The witness believed the male could be a suspect in a larceny that occurred the week before. At 1:37 p.m. a deputy reported that a missing person post was made on Facebook. The missing subjects vehicle was located by family at the Salt Fork Bridge but did not find the male subject. The male was identified as Christopher Swalve. Deputies checked the area and requested the phone be pinged. T-Moblie advised they could not do that unless a form is filled out. The male’s mother called and said she didn’t think her son was missing because he messaged his cousin on Facebook. At 3:17 p.m. deputies reached Swalve on the phone. It was confirmed that he was at home.

At 1:04 p.m. Creek County confirmed warrants on Marty Luper.

At 1:10 p.m. Fort Oakland confirmed warrants on Lamont Warrior.

At 1:19 p.m. Creek County confirmed warrants on Billy Hutchins.

At 2:41 p.m. KSO received a report of a trash dump on west Street south of Riverview.

At 3:57 p.m OKC police confirmed warrants on Cash Cole.

At 4:34 p.m. Fort Oakland police  reported a rollover accident on Hubbard Road and W Street. No subjects were locate around the vehicle. A subject called and said a vehicle stopped and the occupant assisted those in the wrecked vehicle. The driver reportedly took a Kansas plate off of the wrecked vehicle. OHP responded.

At 4:57 p.m KSO received a report of a truck that caught fire on I-35 at mile marker 202 and traveled to the 209 rest stop. Tonkawa fire responded.

At 7:24 p.m. KSO received a report of a two-vehicle accident with injuries on Peckham Road and S Street. OHP responded. (see story)

Aug. 4

At 3:17 a.m. PCPD confirmed warrants on Keyanna Young. She was arrested.

At 1:46 p.m. a deputy assisted PCPD with a two-vehicle accident at 14th and Harding.

At 9:28 p.m.

Aug. 5

At 2: 33 a.m. a deputy transported a juvenile male from Craig County to Kay County.

At 9:38 a.m. a deputy transported an adult inmate to Lawton Correctional. The deputy then went to the Oklahoma County jail and trasnported a female adult back to Kay County.

At 1:39 p.m. a deputy took a report on gasoline reported stolen from a tractor located at 44th and Furguson.

At 1:55 p.m. a deputy responded to a two-vehicle accident on Highway 60 east of I-35.

At 2:41 p.m. Tonkawa police confirmed warrants on Karin Andra Ross.

Aug. 6

At 1:22 a.m. KSO received a report of a domestic at a camp site. The phone was taken away from the female before she could give a location. PCPD and Osage County were notified.

At 8:24 a.m. KSO received a report of an intoxicated boater who almost ran over a jet skier at Hide Away Marina. A deputy responded.

At 10:57 p.m. KSO received a report of a male laying face down on the ground on Lake Road near McFadden Cove. A deputy was unable to locate the subject.
