Ponca City residents appear in Osage County District Court on pending domestic charges

PAWHUSKA — Ponca City residents Kourtnie Lynn Summitt, 29, and Ponca City Police Sgt. Daniel Allan Morrison, 35, reportedly appeared in Osage County District Court today.

Osage County deputy investigator Ronnie Stevens said the pair were arrested in the early morning hours on July 24 on domestic charges.

Stevens said a judge set bond at $4,000 in both cases.

Summitt reportedly bonded out at 3:18 p.m. on July 24 and Morrison bonded out at 3:49 p.m.

Stevens said Summitt is facing a complaint of domestic assault and battery and Morrison is facing a complaint of domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor child.

Stevens said the court appearances were continued until Thursday.

Ponca City police chief Donnie Bohon said Morrison is on administrative leave.
