Crews repairing section of Pecan Road

NEWKIRK — Crews are pouring concrete today on Pecan Road between Dry and Canteen Roads.

The road has been closed since a section reportedly buckled from the heat earlier this week.

Kay County Commissioner Jason Shanks said he hopes to reopen the road Monday at noon.
