Two charges dismissed against former Ponca City coach in Cleveland County
June 21, 2022 | Courts|SportsSHAWNEE — Two of three felony charges filed against former Ponca City Public School basketball coach and Shawnee Assistant Athletic Director, Ronald Gene Arthur, have been dropped.
Arthur, 52, was charged on Sept. 9, 2021, with felony counts of soliciting sexual contact with a minor by use of technology, forcible sodomy, and second degree rape.
Last week the sodomy and rape charges were dismissed in Cleveland County District Court.
