Sheriff radio logs June 16

The following information is provided by the Kay County Sheriff’s Department.

At 8:32 a.m. Major County confirmed warrants on Ivan Adams.

At 10:30 a.m. the FBI confirmed warrants on a Joseph Cain, 41.

At 11 a.m. deputies responded to a report of a fatality accident at 13th and Hubbard. (see story)

At 11:49 a.m. PCPD confirmed warrants on Dwaine Roberts.

At 3:44 p.m. Newkirk police advised a report was made at the elementary school on a 11-year-old that was assaulted. DHS was notified.

At 3:55 p.m. PCPD confirmed warrants on December Hicks.

At 4:30 p.m. a deputy was requested to a residence on south 29th Street for a report of a a goat that gets out and eats the resident’s corn. At 4:53 it was reported that 29th and Fountain Road was blocked for an oil field fire. A deputy arrived and saw many goats out. The owner said he would fix the fence.

At 4:39 p.m. Payne County confirmed warrants on Zotigh Whitefeather.

At 6:39 p.m. KSO received a report that the construction zone at the Kaw City Bridge was a traffic hazard. It was later advised that there are lights at both ends.

At 8 p.m. KSO received a report of a tractor in a creek located near Highway 177 north of 60th Street. Blackwell towing responded. The tractor was later confirmed stolen out of Cowley County.

At 11:06 p.m. Murray County confirmed warrants on Marvin Kinnard.
