Ponca City police logs June 10-13

The following information is provided by Ponca City police.

June 10

At 12:33 a.m. police arrested Eric Stewart for DUI in the Taco Bell Drive thru after he let following asleep in a vehicle.

At 1:10 a.m. police responded to McDonald’s for a report of people arguing in the drive thru. Police report that two people got into an argument over french fries and one threw a chicken nugget. A trespass warning was requested.

At 2:01 a.m. police arrested Hugo Gutierrez for DUI following an injury accident at 4th and South Ave.

At 4:06 a.m. fire units and police responded to the 2700 block of east Hartford for a report of a transformer on fire. No fire was located. The electric department responded.

At 6:40 p.m. police responded to the 100 block of S. Ash for a report of a group of people smashing windows of a house with a bat. Shelsea Clinkingbeard was arrested.

At 10 p.m. police arrested Christopher Wheeler at J.W. Cobbs for felon in possession of a firearm. (see story)

June 11

 police arrested Rayshawn Sewell at 1st and Grand.

At 1:25 a.m. police were notified of a 13-year-old destroying an ER room. the child was calmed down.

At 12:39 p.m. police arrested Austin Davis on warrants at the Regal Inn.

At 4:32 p.m. Noble County Sheriff’s Department advised they were looking for a white Chevy pickup occupied by two males who were reportedly going door to door in the area of Badlands Road asking if there was gasoline on the property.

At 4:50 p.m. police arrested Caleb Buffalohead at Ambuc Pool on a new charge and a public intoxication.

At 7:25 p.m. extra patrol was requested for an apartment in reference to short people breaking in.

At 11:44 p.m. police arrested Michael Newlin on a domestic charge at Paladin Apartments.

June 12

Police arrested Cary Dayton at the Rodeo Grounds for public intoxication.

At 1:40 a.m. police responded to a report of a vehicle flipped into the ditch at Ash and Riveria. One subject was trapped in the vehicle. The subject was freed and transported to the ER.

At 3:43 p.m. police took  report on a domestic reported at 5th and Highland. 

At 4:35 p.m. police arrested Gerald Floyd on a domestic assault and battery at 5th Street park.

At 7:45 p.m. police arrested Roberty Wilson on a warrant at Lake Ponca.

At 9:16 p.m. police arrested William Evans in the 900 block of N. Palm for DUI.

At 11:26 p.m. police took a report on two males who stole beer from the Stop N Go, 501 west Highland.

June 13

At 1:08 p.m. police took a report on a fire started in a driveway in the 600 block of S. 4th Street.

At 3:52 a.m. police arrested Jonathan Brasher on conspiracy and forgery charges at O’Reilly Auto Parts, 104 west Grand.

At 5:42 a.m. officers took a report on a woman who jumped out of the back of a vehicle and was on the back drive of the police department.

At 5:58 a.m. DHS took a report in the 800 block of N. 3rd Street.

At 7:43 a.m. police responded to a report of a dog attack at Ambuc Play Ground at Lake Ponca. Animal Control took the dog. No injuries were reported.

At 11:01 a.m. police took a report on a two-vehicle accident at 14th and Walnut. At 11:17 a.m. another two-vehicle accident was reported at the same location.

At 1:48 p.m. police took a report on a gas meter that was hit in a back yard in th 400 block of N. Ash. ONG shut the gas off. The vehicle was gone upon arrival.

At 2:21 p.m. police responded to a report of a subject hit by a black four door SUV at Grand and Pine. The vehicle left northbound on Pine. A trooper was on scene and last saw the vehicle north bound on Oak Street. The driver side mirror is missing. The victim was treated at the hospital for minor injuries.

At 3:49 p.m. police responded to a report of a two-year found in face down in a pool not breathing. The child was airlifted to St. Francis hospital in Tulsa. No updates have been given. 

At 4:12 p.m. police received a report of a sexual assault. The alleged incident occurred in Kay County jurisdiction and options were given.

AT 6:24 p.m. police took a report on a vehicle burglary in the 1000 block of N. 2nd Street.

At 6:35 p.m. police responded to a report of a black truck that reportedly hit the railroad crossing at 1st and South Ave. Police arrested Gaylord Ross, 73, for DUI.

At 8:12 p.m. police took a report on a homeless male exhibiting homicidal tendencies.

At 8:52 p.m. police took a report on a phone harassment.

At 10:10 p.m. police arrested Clint Graham in the parking lot of Woodlands Christian Church for planning to perform an attempt of violence.
