PTC’s Medical Assisting class graduates

PONCA CITY — The Pioneer Technology Center 2022 Medical Assisting class celebrated their graduation with a ceremony and reception this week.

Pioneer Tech’s Medical Assisting program provides adult students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work as a medical assistant. Students learn a variety of clerical skills including patient scheduling, billing and medical insurance coding, as well as clinical skills that include vital signs, phlebotomy, and sterile techniques.
