UPDATE: Victim dies from injuries

WICHITA, Kan. — According to Facebook posts, on Jan. 2, Marsh died from her injuries and was an organ donor. A Facebook page has been created to follow her story.

KAW CITY — A Bartlesville woman is in critical condition after she reportedly jumped from a moving vehicle on Highway 11, one mile east of Acker hill Road, near Kaw City and was struck by another vehicle Wednesday night.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that Sara Nicole Marsh, 22, jumped from a 2012 Kia Sorento that was traveling west in Oklahoma 11 after she reportedly became involved in a verbal altercation with the driver identified as, Lane Douglas, 22, Bartlesville.

Troopers report she impacted the ground and was struck by a 2015 Nissan Sentra driven by Tyler Scott Gorr, 18, Shidler, who was not injured.

She was transported via Ponca City ambulance to Alliance Health and then airlifted to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kan. where she is reportedly in crticial condition with multiple injuries.

Troopers report the cause of the accident and the condition of the driver are under investigation.
