NEWKIRK — An attorney status review is set for Amanda Danyale Panatta, 31, Ponca City, in Kay County District Court.

Panatta is facing a felony charge of domestic assault and battery or assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Ponca City police report that officers responded to the 300 block of S. Osage on Sept. 4 for a report of a possible stabbing. (see related story)

Officers report that upon arrival a male subject was outside and that his left tricep was bleeding.

The male told police that Panatta stabbed him with a folding pocket knife as he was trying to spin her out of his way during an argument.

Police located Panatta two hours later at the residence. She declined to provide a statement to police.

She is free on $10,000 bond.
