Po-Hi assistant principal placed on leave after DUI arrest

NEWKIRK — A court date is set for Jan. 5, for Ponca City High School Assistant Principal, Sean David Taglialatela, 34, Ponca City, in Kay County District Court.

Taglialatela was arrested by Ponca City police on Oct. 10 on complaints of DUI and reckless driving. 

He was later charged with a misdemeanor DUI.

He appeared in court on Oct. 12 and was granted bond and released upon the condition he have no alcohol.

On Oct. 22 he appeared before Judge David Wilkie on the misdemeanor docket with his attorney Rick Johnson.

Ponca City Public Schools reports that Taglialatela was placed on administrative leave before his initial  court appearance.
