Former Lowe’s manager enters no contest plea to embezzlement
September 27, 2021 | CourtsNEWKIRK — Former Lowe’s manager Daryl Lee Ramer, 41, entered a no contest plea in Kay County District Court to a felony count of embezzlement.
Ramer was charged on Dec. 31, 2019, after Ponca City police investigated a report of embezzlement by an employee.
Police report in the affidavit that Ramer was caught on video stealing tools. (see story)
Judge David Bandy issued a seven year deferred sentence to Ramer. He must also be under district attorney’s supervision for 18 months, write an apology letter and pay fines. A restitution hearing is set for Nov. 16.
