Blackwell police logs Sept. 13-18

The following information is provided by Blackwell police.

Sept. 13

At 9:42 a.m. police received a report of a speeding vehicle that bottomed out in the 400 block of N. 4th south of Dewey and lost a tire. The driver fled on foot. The vehicle was found running and impounded.

At 12:28 p.m. police responded to the Valero for a report of a subject who threw water in an employee’s face. The male was located and issued a trespass citation.

At 4:41 p.m. police arrested Donna Jean Ross on warrants at Coolidge and Main.

At 4:46 p.m. police took a report on damaged hen and chick plants in the 500 block of west Bridge.

Sept. 14

At 11:51 a.m. police took a report on tires and rims reported stolen and replaced with used ones near the area of south Main and SW Boulevard. 

At 4:36 p.m. Blackwell ambulance responded to the fairgrounds for a report of a subject who became overheated and fell. 

At 9 p.m. police took a report on a subject who reportedly stole money from a  female in the 500 block fo west Oklahoma.

Sept. 15

At 9:55 a.m. police received a report of an intoxicated female crawling in the street near the area of 6th and Lincoln. The female made it back home before police arrived.

At 2:30 p.m. police responded to a report of an unattended death in the 500 block of west Blackwell.

At 6:36 p.m. police took a report on an assault and battery at the fairgrounds.

Sept. 16

At 7:28 a.m. Blackwell police and ambulance responded to a vehicle and pedestrian accident at southwest Boulevard and Coolidge. One subject was transported to the hospital.

At 8:24 p.m. police took a report on an assault reported at the county fair. A male subject suffered a head injury.

Sept. 17

At 3:34 p.m. Braman fire was notified of a small grass fire on Interstate 35 on the north side of the road construction. The fire was out upon arrival.

At 10:14 p.m. Blackwell Regional Hospital reported a patient missing and told police the subject was highly intoxicated. Officers searched hospital grounds was not able to locate the subject.

Sept. 18

At 8:14 a.m. Blackwell fire was notified of a controlled burn on west Doolin between 140 and 156. Deer Creek was notified.

At 9:50 a.m. Blackwell ambulance responded to a report of an injury at a football game. The subject was transported to Stillwater.

At 10:41 a.m. police responded to the 300 block of N. 4th Street for a report of bolt cutters and a bag of clothes found behind a business. Extra patrol was requested.

At 2:51 p.m. police an ambulance responded to the fairgrounds for a ride operator who became sick with a diabetic issue. The subject was transported.

At 7:35 p.m. Blackwell fire responded to a report of a small fire east of Braman on Bender Road.
