Ponca City man convicted of drug charges

NEWKIRK — Marion Douglas January III, 46, Ponca City, entered a no contest plea in Kay County District Court to felony counts of distribute CDS within 2,000 feet of a park or school, maintaining place for keeping selling CDS, conspiracy to deliver a CDS and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

A charge of using a surveillance device while in commission of a felony, was dismissed.

January was arrested along with Marie Christina Cadle, 40, and Devin Taylor Cadle, 22, both of Ponca City, at a residence in the 500 block of N. 10th Street in 2020 after the District Attorney’s Office Task Force conducted a search warrant.
