Pawnee man and Wichita woman killed in accident near Perry

PERRY — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports that two people were killed in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 35, southbound lanes, just south of U.S. 64, and west of Perry in Noble County.

Troopers report that the driver of a 1994 Chevrolet Blazer identified as Danny G. Guinn, 59, Pawnee, and his passenger Michelle R. Guinn, 55, Wichita, Kan., were both pronounced dead at the scene by the medical examiner. 

The driver of the second vehicle identified as Dustin P. Wehlmann, 42, Aurora, Colorado, refused treatment. 

Troopers are still investigating what happened and what the cause of the accident is. OHP reports that all were using seatbelts.  Troopers, Noble County Sheriff’s Department, Perry Police and fire and ambulance responded to the scene.
