NEWKIRK — Bobby Daniel Largent, 64, Tonkawa, entered no contest pleas in Kay County District Court to felony charges of assault and battery with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.
A felony charge of first degree burglary was dismissed.
The charges were filed on Sept. 30, 2020.
Tonkawa police report that Largent is accused of pointing a gun at a subject and threatening to kill a him on Sept. 28. (see story)
Judge David Bandy sentenced Largent to 20 years in prison with all but the first 10 years suspended. Largent was given credit for time served.
