Suspect in Saturday stabbing arrested

PONCA CITY — Ponca City police and ambulance responded to the 300 block of S. Osage at 1:35 p.m. Saturday for a report of male who was stabbed in the shoulder area by a female.

Police searched the area and followed a tip that lead the search to a gas station and to Osage Casino in their hunt for the suspect.

Officers then received a tip that the suspect was hiding in a garage near the scene of the incident.  At 5:58 p.m. police located and arrested 31-year-old Amanda Danyalle Panatta on a complaints of domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and unauthorized use of a vehicle. She was booked in the county jail on $20,000 bond.

The victim was transported to Alliance Health Medical via ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
