PONCA CITY — The U.S. Marshal Service has confirmed that marshals working with Shawnee Police arrested 30-year-old Jezreal Anatasia Apple on a shooting with intent to kill warrant in the Lowe’s parking lot today at 9:45 a.m.

Cal Stephens, U.S. Marshals, said Apple was taken to the Kay County Detention Center where she awaits extradition to Pottawatomie County.

The Shawnee News Star reports that Shawnee police responded to a shooting on Aug. 23 in the area of Broadway and Severn Street at 8:46 p.m. Officers report finding a wounded male.

In 2016, Apple and Jesse Riddle were arrested on complaints of shooting with intent to kill and possession of a firearm after they were involved in a police stand off at the Plaza Inn located at SE 29th and Interstate 35 after a shooting at another location.

In addition to the pending charges in Pottawatomie County, Apple has a pending case in Oklahoma County District Court that was filed on July 19. She was released on $7,500 bond in that case on July 20.
