Warrant issued for subject accused of firing a gun at a bar

NEWKIRK — A warrant remains issued for Jacob Leroy Alexander Wiggins, 26, Ponca City, who is charged with a felony count of carrying a weapon where alcohol is served and a misdemeanor charge of reckless conduct with a firearm.

Ponca City police report in the affidavit that an officer was doing a walk through at Frack it Bar on March 20 when a subject reported that someone fired a gun in the bathroom.

A bouncer reportedly made the subject leave.

A witness told police that there was a bullet a hole five feet off the ground in the bathroom door.

Another witness told the officer he found a silver casing in the bathroom and gave it to an employee.

The bar’s owner told police that the subject the bouncer escorted out was Wiggins.

On March 21, police responded to a residence on Glenside after receiving a report that gun fired at the bar was at a residence.

A resident in the 700 block of N. Osage reportedly told police that Wiggins had been staying with him and that on the night of the incident, Wiggins reportedly went to Frack It.

The resident said Wiggins came home yelling that something bad happened.

The resident later told Wiggins to leave. The resident told police he found a firearm that he sold to Wiggins on April 1, 2020 in a broken washing machine.

Bond for Wiggins is endorsed at $5,000.
