The following information is provided by Ponca City police.

May 17

At 12:36 a.m. an officer was flagged down at Grand and Oak by a male bleeding from his head. The subject was transported to the hospital via ambulance.

At 8:54 a.m. police took a report on a burglary attempt at the National Guard building, 1015 west S. Ave.

At 10:34 a.m. police arrested a 12-year-old at West Middle School on a charge of threaten to perform an act of violence.

At 10:34 a.m. police took a report on a domestic in the 2300 block of Wood Thrush Road. A warrant request was made.

At 2:51 p.m. police took a report on a hit and run reported at Casey’s. Video footage was obtained.

At 4:32 p.m. police responded to a report of a hit and run accident involving a Poor Boy Taxi at meadow and Prospect. Someone with the cab company then called police with a conflicting story. Citations were issued and a report made.

AT 4:34 p.m. police responded to an attempted suicide in the 500 block of S. 12th Street. Police report a 54-year-old male attempted to hang himself. The subject later admitted to St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa.

At 5:14 p.m. police arrested Jon Williams for DUI at Check Stand 1 at Lake Ponca.

At 9:15 p.m. police took a report on a motorcycle that reportedly hit a vehicle near El Patio and left the scene.

At 9:32 p.m. police responded to a report of a large white male jumping out into traffic on 5th Street near the stadium. Police responded and reported the subject has mental issues and headed home.

May 16

At 12:46 a.m. police arrested Patricia Cornwell on warrants at 809 west Lincoln.

At 4:37 p.m. police received a report of a large limb down on Frisco between 2nd and 3rd Streets. Street Department was notified.

At 11:31 p.m. Blackwell fire units responded to a report of a structure fire  at 1701 S. B Street.

May 17

At 7:35 a.m. police investigated a report of two male subjects inside Washington School.

At 10:59 a.m. police received a report of a vehicle that swerved to miss a deer and landed in a ditch on Highway 177 and Peckham Road.

At 1:58 p.m. fire units responded to 523 Main Street for a report of a bedroom on fire. 

At 3:11 p.m. police received a report of a raccoon in a house. A trap was set.

At 3:31 a.m. OKC police confirmed warrants on Laquez Lancaster. No hold was placed. (see story)

At 8:46 a.m. a deputy arrested Tori Bryant at the courthouse.

At 2:41 p.m. Blackwell police confirmed warrants on Zachariah Mericle.

At 6:32 p.m. PCPD confirmed warrants on Darin Webster.

At 9:40 p.m. KSO received a report of items stolen from a woman’s purse, home and barn. A report was made.

At 10:08 p.m. OKC police confirmed warrants on Gene Roberts.

At 10:12 p.m. police confirmed warrants on Benjamin Shook.
