Deferred sentence issued in Blackwell Softball Association embezzlement caseMay 4, 2021 | Courts
NEWKIRK — Kasey Morgan Cox, 41, Blackwell, entered a plea of no contest in Kay County District Court to a felony count of embezzlement.
Cox was charged with the offense on Dec. 2, 2020 after an investigation by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. (see story here)
Cox is now convicted of embezzling funds from the Blackwell Softball Association.
Sentencing was deferred for two years by Judge David Bandy. Cox is also ordered to write an apology letter, maintain employment and pay all sums assessed.
