Sheriff logs, April 18-19; Deputies investigate vandalism at Tonkawa Animal ControlApril 20, 2021 | Featured|Police
The following information is provided by the Kay County Sheriff’s Department.
At 10:10 a.m. KSO received a report of a grass fire on U.S. 60 west of Ranch Drive. Ponca City fire units responded.
At 12:21 p.m. KSO received a report of a male pestering the caller’s dogs. A deputy responded to the 2400 block of east Tower Road, made contact with the male who then reported 20 guns stolen. A report was made.
At 2:14 p.m. PCPD confirmed warrants on Monica Dent.
At 2:26 p.m. a resident reported that he chased his neighbors dogs off his property and now the neighbors want to fight. The caller reported five males subjects in his front yard and two pickups blocking his driveway. Deputies responded and a simple assault report was made.
At 2:28 p.m. Bear Creek Fire units responded to a grass fire at 106 Lane and River Road.
At 2:51 p.m. an inmate at the county jail requested to speak to a deputy.
At 11:27 p.m. a deputy conducted a traffic stop at South Ave. and Waverly. Three subjects were arrested.
At 9:21 p.m. Newkirk police responded to Dollar General for a report of stolen vehicle. A report was made.
At 10:27 p.m. Edmond police confirmed warrants on Brian Page.
At 12:38 a.m. an employee of Phillips 66 requested deputies check on a suspicious vehicle at Union Road and Oakland Road. Everything was okay.
At 7:37 a.m. a welfare check was requested on a subject spotted on foot in the 5800 block of north Union. The subject was walking to Wendy’s.
At 7:56 a.m. PCPD confirmed warrants on a juvenile male.
At 8:06 a.m. Pottawatomie County confirmed warrants on Eric Stephens.
At 8:50 a.m. Tonkawa police requested deputy respond to Tonkawa Animal Control for a break in.
TPD reported someone broke into the facility, stole a dog and vandalized the facility. Police advised they have video. A deputy responded and took a report. At 10:37 a.m. Tonkawa police advised they located the suspect at 201 N. Barnes. A deputy responded to that the location. The suspect was identified but there was no probable cause for an arrest. Information was gathered.
At 9:26 a.m. McClain County confirmed warrants on Ricky Williams.
At 11:43 a.m. PCPD confirmed warrants on Brenda Benson.
At 11:56 a.m. PCPD reported an attended death in the 900 block of S. 12th Street.
At 1:09 p.m. OHP dispatch requested a warrant check on Sandra Mensik. Warrants were confirmed in Cleveland County.
At 1:53 p.m. Tulsa police confirmed warrants on Marquilion Hogan.
At 9:07 p.m. LeFlore County confirmed warrants on Patrick Madewll.
