Po-Hi’s BPA chapter earn honors

PONCA CITY — Ponca City High School’s chapter of Business Professionals of America competed in the virtual State Leadership Conference on March 9 and 10.

Broadcast News Production Team members senior. Kaylee Wimberley,  senior Brady Ladner, sophomore, Ethan Meyer, and sophomore, Haley Mills  placed second. 

Podcast Production sophomore team members, Amanie Owdetallah, Karina Hernandez, and Tynli Nickell, placed third. Wimberley competed in Financial Math Analysis, and placed second.  

Ponca City BPA qualified for Nationals in all three events. This is the first time any of the current members have qualified for Nationals, which will be held virtually April 26 through May 9.
